Community Sharing Time

Vanessa Collins Health Guide
  • I think it would be fun to share one thing about ourselves with other community members.  Maybe an experience from childhood or some hobby or special interest you might have.  It could be an activity you and/or your family enjoy in winter, or some dream you might have, or a family tradition. It could be anything, really.

I will start by saying that I am an avid animal lover.  I have rescued many kitties and I live in the country in Missouri where there are lots of "critters".  A few winters ago a baby racoon must have lost his mother. He would huddle in the window sill of our picture window in the kitchen.  He would hug the glass as tightly as he could, trying to absorb some heat, I guess. I felt sorry for the little guy, so I fed him cat on the back deck all winter long.  Well.....Rocky grew up and that Spring I had to stop feeding him and stay away from him. I guess he thought I was his mother.  He would follow me around outside and try to come into the house.  He would see me in the yard and actually come running toward me.  Yikes!  Rocky grew up and raised several families of his own, I believe.  They are cute little things, but they kind of scare me when they get big. Surprised
