I am happy to report that I finally found one ohter person online who has EOA (Erosive Inflammatory Osteoarthritis). As she so aptly put it, "We aren't horses (OA) and we aren't Zebras (RA). We seem to have parts of both." The bad thing is, doctors don't seem to know quite what to do when a patient has EOA. That has been my experience anyway.
My new acquaintance told me that she uses an exercise ball for her hands to strengthen the muscles and keep the joints limber. I was wondering if RA patients are advised to do the same. It seems like a good idea, albeit a painful one at times.
