My doctor told me almost a year ago that I had to join the Y so that I could swim. I didn't do it. I have gained back all of the weight I had worked so hard to lose. So, I am back to counting calories and I guess I will have to put on a swimming suit and just not look in the mirror. LOL I don't know how I am going to arrange my schedule to do this, but I have to go to the Y at least twice a week to swim. I thought I could start out just hanging onto the side and kicking my legs. Sounds a bit silly, I know, but my muscles are getting weak, and I think I need to start out slowly. I have had high bp since I was 29. I am now 57. I really need to get this weight off and to get some sort of aerobic exercise. With bad knees, bad hips and EOA in my feet, swimming is the only thing I can do at this point. Will let you all know how it goes. If I can control my pain, I think it might work.
