About Me
My name is Marie. I am 59 years old. I have had RA since my 20's. I was on prednisone for awhile (in my 20's and for a few weeks two years ago) but had to may side effects so they took me off of it. Now I have no medical insurance so I am not taking anything. No pain meds or anything. I don't qualify for any medical assistance and it really sucks! I just have to watch my body fall apart. I have 4 kids of my own and my husband has 4 and we each have 7 grandkids. We have been married for 16 years (second marriage for both of us). I have a brindle boxer named Solomon. My husband Bruce is a retired police officer. He's 65 and on medicare. Lucky him! He has osteoarthritis and thinks that his pain is much worse than my RA.
