Now, I have no desire to offer or exchange in any political views as this is most certainly not the place for it nor have I any interest in praising or otherwise the US system (which I know little about) - though I thought I'd share some experiences (good and bad) about the National Health...

Would really appreciate some thoughts. Due to fertility issues for me and partner, we've had five lots of IVF since April 2008. No joy. View all round is that my RA is the reason it's not working as my body goes crazy - v high temp - when the embryos are implanted. Since the last IVF, my arthritis has flared up and has now spread to...

Aw ... what now?!

Well, I've had a turbulent year and a bit trying to get pregnant (with no success). (This post is a bit of moan, if the title didn't give it away ... ) I've been on so many meds that my weight has ballooned so, although we gals can enjoy shopping, this is not a happy reason to be buying new clothes! We've decided to give the fertility stuff a break for a few months to let my body recover ... only for my arthritis to flare up...

Immune issues and fertility

Hi, everyone. Hope you're having a good day today. A site member suggested I share my recent experiences in trying to get pregnant. Sorry if this is a long post!

A bit of background: I'm based in London, England. I am 38 and was diagnosed with RA when I was 6. Starting with my left knee, over the years (and particularly through my 'teens), my arthritis has spread to my right knee, both hips, left foot, both...
