Hi Suzanne I have ra to. I am getting ready to start Humeria. I was diagnosed in 91.The only drug so far that helped me is Remicaid. Had to stop that because of other medical issues. Will start Humeria next week. Good luck on your Enbrel, will remember you in my prayers

I am on enbrel for 5 years yet I must admit it has helped better than any other dmard

yet I still have frequent flares, but I believe

these flares would be much worse without

    Enbrel.

Blessings, wishing you less pain free days.

I have been taking enbrel 3 months now and so far so good. I have much less pain in my hands and feet then before and my joints are not so hot feeling. My rheumatolgist said my blood tests showed a decrease in inflamation but i was slightly anemic so I am taking trinsicon now. my best to you.

    Hi Susan:

I have been on emprel for almost 2 years. I take 2 50mg shots a week. II have been on so much pain meds it cold hardley stand it, Including 90mg of morphene a day. Plus Vikoden.

Granted I have a ver extream case, So I'm told, But the emprel is defenatly worth a try. my pain meds are cut in half and I am getting ready to lower then some more I would try it. Good luck to you and God Nless, Johhny B in PAInnocent

I sympathize with you Suzanne. My mother had RA for 30 years before she died 15 years ago at age 60. She suffered a stroke. But the unbearable pain of the RA was a terrible thing to see a loved one suffer so much. I believe she was diabetic (as I am now) but was never diagnosed. I have just started taking honey and cinnamon and already feel less pain in my knees and my blood sugar has dropped.

I don't know if it will help you, but worth a try.
