Hi...I am getting my first colonoscopy next month and i'm wondering how RA does w/ anesthesia.  Right now, I'm on Enbrel and a generic form of Plaquenil.  Does anyone have any insight?  Thank you.

I am 40 years old.  Diagnosed with RA when I was 24.  I have been under anesthesia several times.  I have had my tonsils out, reconstructive knee surgery and had 2 colonoscopies.  I had no side effects from the anesthesia.  I currently take Enbrel and a low dose of prednisone.  P.S. You'll love the warm blanket they put on you before the procedure!!!!!

There is nothing to worry about. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt.
