I hear you. I waste so much energy trying to do what I used to be able to do and often forgetting to ask myself if it's something I really want to do. The good part is that I'm starting to figure out that I just don't have the energy levels (or even the interest) to do certain things and that is now been going on for so long that most of the time, I'm focusing on other things I have taken up that fit better with my current reality. Still, there are times when I get tricked into thinking that I want to do something I'm just not really into anymore. And then I remember the message of a great book called Only Forward - well, I can't even remember if it's freat anymore, just that it's no use going back. Only forward.

Very funny!
The book's sci-fi, written by Michael Marshall Smith. Let me know if it's as good as I remember.
