what an amazing post, Leslie. I love the way you got to the feelings behind it all, talked about the things we talk even less about than sex. Thank you for having the courage to be vulnerable in public. This one was special.

Seriously - you nailed it (no pun intended). I am pretty new to the world of RA and was really lucky to have an established relationship with a great guy when things hit. We used to joke...I am 38 and he is 42...about being able to keep up with one another, etc. I love this man with all my heart, and an active sex life was an integral part of our relationship.

Now I can't kiss him the way I used to, because my DAMN JAW won't open!!!! Not to mention positions being limited at best. Thankfully he has been very patient and we laugh as much about the struggles now as we do everything else, but I can only imagine what it has to be like to start something new and have to explain that 3rd party in the bedroom.

Thanks for making me laugh with this one - your candor is appreciated and it helped me to remember that i'm not the only one out there with a ridiculously dry mouth Wink!!!!!!!!!
