need a referral to a new RA doc

I have been going to a rheumatologist in Corpus Christi for almost 2 years and I am really needing to change doctors. Does anyone know of a good one here in Corpus or I could drive to Houston as well. I know there are so many there but I want someone who has access to the newest drugs. I have tried nearly all of them; MTX, humira, rituxan and now I am on enbrel with no results.

Hi moved to Texas in January and was talking to my neighbor who referred me to Dr. James Crout in Austin. I think he is the best. He is very compassionate and follows your care, personally, very closely. I don't know how much access he has to new things, but he is nationally recognized and good. His number is 512-901-4068 for an appt. good luck

Thanks Cindy. I have two daughters in Austin so that would be a good spot for me to go. I appreciate the help. My doctor sure isn't working out.
