About Me

I not only have RA, but a herniated lumbar disc with nerve root damage. I am presently unemployed with no medical insurance. I am in severe pain daily, but because I have no insurance, I have to treat the pain with ibuprofen, rather than RA meds, that require periodic blood work or back surgery to correct the disc. The epidural steroid injections I received in the past really helped, but I can't afford to get anymore. I'm at a total loss on how to cope with the pain. I recently hired a lawyer to help me apply to SSD. I know it can take a year or more to get approval. I have no idea how I'm going to survive till then. Any suggestions? would be extremely appreciated!
