About Me

Hi, I am Gizelle, Nice to meet you. Well kinda meet you anyway :)

I had this section saying simply Mother of 4 with severe Rheumatoid Arthritis, but I am so much more than that, so here it is.. I am a College student,  yup a 34 year old college student. I started out in nursing school but when in the beginning of this disease I couldn't keep up with the schedule so I changed my major.. (and started taking most of my courses online) as of right now I am going for a general AA but will probably end up in social work or something of that sort.. I love helping people!! Ok so I mentioned 4 kids.. and no I'm not crazy I am glad I have them every day they make me smile like no one else. I'll start with my first Taylor is 13 and she is not only jaw dropping gorgeous but she is SO smart. I honestly have no clue how I had someone so smart once growing inside me. she is very helpful too and I think out of all. she takes this RA thing the hardest because she lost a friend when they were 7 to complications due to JRA so it hits home.. I make it light whenever I can for her.. Next there are two. Yup twins. John and Deannah are 11 and that was one thing I wasn't expecting. Deannah is so pretty she has got to be the most photogenic child I have ever met and sweet and quiet!!  She was born with yes ma'am on her lips I swear. her Brother is my challenge she is Autistic and ADHD and has a moderate/severe developmental delay, he is very special and his voice is so calming to me.. He hugs me with such a delicate touch. I never liked it till now when sometimes I hurt all over, how it's like Heaven. Then there is Zachary, my baby, he is 6 and everyone knows he is the baby too.. He is the ham. although I don't think me means to be. funny things just roll out of that kid's mouth all the time! and he is the perfect cuddler!

I am also Married to the greatest husband of all time. Johnny is Big and strong and yet looks at me like I could break him with my pinky finger! We have been together for going on 12 years and I don't think I could breath without him. I think he took this whole RA thing harder than I did!

Just a little about the RA, I started symptoms in May of 07 after being put in the hospital for severe dehydration due to vomiting and extremely high fevers. Within a day of having Gallbladder surgery for no reason (pathology showed a perfect gallbladder) my entire body showed swelling from the RA, I was diagnosed in July of 07. Doctors still have no clue why I was so jaundice, or so sick because RA typically does not attack the digestive system.. but thats how it all started.
