Hello All,This is offically my second sharepost. I had first written about advice on whether or not to start prednisone. The stress I was having is that I take a blood thinner for a rare blood disease, coumadin keeps me from throwing blood clots to my lungs or heart or brain, that could be a problem ...

    Dear Connie,

Thanks for a great SharePost! I know that Prednisone is not an easy drug to take, but I'm so glad to hear that it is alleviating some of your RA symptoms.

Congratulations on organizing a new arthritis support group! Please keep us up to date on how that's going and what your group discusses- it will certainly be of interest to our community.

Also, I'm pulling together a list of recommended reading for our RA community and would love to include any suggestions you may have. I think this would be a great resource for anyone coming to our site.

Here's a blog from one of our heart site  expert patients about Coumadin. I thought it might be of interest to you.

    Best wishes,

    Katherine
