HUMIRA & VACCINES

Hey All,

Sorry I haven't been on here in awhile. As far as the vaccines for Shingles & tetanus we on Humira cannot get those. When I had switched my doc's over, my new doc didn't know that I was already on Humira. They were going to start me up. When I called & asked "big red light", "STOP".... NO live vaccines on Humira very bad JUJU.

So my new advice to all.... make sure your new doc, if you are changing, knows ALL of your current treatments, meds, etc. Before you start Humira they like for you to have those two vaccines for the JUST IN CASE contact with someone who has.

Hope you all are doin' okay.... Keep your faith & hopes up...... we are all going through something when we are running with the "RA"... just remember.. we are not alone.. we have each other here..
