Thanks V!  I remember that when I was first dx with RA, my rheumy wanted me to be tested for hepatitis antibodies before starting any meds.  She wanted to make sure that I had received vaccines at some point in the past (since I didn't have evidence either way).  I was good to go.  So very important to get certain vaccines BEFORE starting RA meds.

I've never had a hepatitis vaccination.  Oops!  Never had mumps or a vaccination for that either.  Hmmmmmm.

I wish doctors would be more on top of this so people could get vaccinated against hepatitis and shingles and everything else before they start the Biologics. So many people aren't. Thanks for doing your bit to raise awareness on this issue!
