Infopshere clinical research is working with Abbott Laboratories in the enrollment of participants for the IRB-approved clinical trial investigating the efficacy of a dosage of 80mg adalimumab in the treatment of Rheumatoid arthritis.

Dr. Stephen R. White, a board certified Rheumatologist, is the primary investigator on this trial.

The researchers are studying whether the a monthly dose of adalimumab 80mg is as good as the bi-weekly dosage of 40mg.

The trial will go on for 24 weeks. A small percentage of participants will be assigned to receive a placebo for the first 12 weeks -- that's how the reseachers will learn if the drug actually works or not.

To be eligible, you must meet the following:

  • Be 18 or older
  • Have been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis for a minimum of three months
  • Is not currently taking any medications for RA (or on a stable dose of MTX)
  • Is in stable health

Interested?

The deadline to apply for the trial is Oct. 31!
