Watching my mom go through RA really made me aware of this disease. She tells me that there are worse things to have. After all, RA doesn't kill you. Does anyone else have this opinion?
Yes Natalie, I think alot of us share this same opinion. What I have learned about rheumatoid arthritis is that there are two roads you can take on your journey with RA. You can dwell on the fact that you have an extremely painful incurable disease, or you can live your life despite RA. Unfortunately it's not all that black and white and alot of us struggle with the helplessness and hopelessness that RA brings, as well as desperately trying to live our lives. But your mom has a wonderful attitude and has chose to live her life. That is the best way to fight this disease! GO MOM! Good luck and best wishes!
