It finally ocurred to me that all the "Koolit" refrigerant packs that come with my Enbrel have a daily use. I keep some in the refrigerator and some in the freezer both at home at at work and use them to cool my fevered joints and head. They are much more comfortable and less messy than bags of frozen peas.

I use my koolits for pain relief too! What's the expression, "great minds think alike?"
If I'm going to be driving for very long at all my midback starts to hurt. So I fill my insulated lunch cooler with koolits and when my back let's me know its time, I pull out a koolit and place it between my back and the car seat. It works great and has the added benefit of keeping me cool in the summer!
Plus, keeping all those koolits on hand in the frig and freezer helps save on energy costs.
