Saturday, November 07, 2009 at 03:05 AMdebra, hello......i'm still laughing at your story! isn't it funny that you're thinking that this horrible/deathly lethal swine flu is better than dealing with RA pain. that just cracks me up! i do very much hope you and your baby are better. it is nice to get to spend some quality time with one child at a time.....even if it's being sick together! you are a great writer......melanie

swine flu in Washington state also

Monday, November 09, 2009 at 10:27 PMThanks for sharing your story. It helps calm the fears generated by the media. Swine flu is running pretty strong in Washington state right now. My son had it a week ago. The symptoms were pretty mild. About 2 days of mild fever (never over 101), coughing, come tiredness. But I knew it wasn't bad when on night in the middle of it he ate four pieces of pizza!
Still can't get vaccine around here but figured I was already exposed!
Hope you're feeling better.
Andrew

I was wondering what happens here - earlier today, I answered a question you had regarding whether you are having the flu or a flare. sorry to hear that your instincts were right, but I'm also glad you're doing the smart thing and staying home to heal - I'm not only does it prevent contagion from spreading, but it's probably also the best thing to do for yourself. Enjoy the juice and History Channel! I hope you feel better soon.
