Thank you to the group!

I need to say "Thank You" to this group!  About this time last year one of you posted that you were on an anti inflamatory diet - which I had never heard of and knew nothing about.  Well after reading more than a few books  - 11 months later my joints and I feel a lot better and maybe even close to great! This is now my new life style plan, I've figured out my trigger foods and am so very thankful to learn about it and how food really does affect our body! Two side effects of this new life style - it's greatly helped my allergy and sinus issues and I get to buy clothes in smaller sizes!  Finally side effects that are wonderful!!!!   Then - and I think it was Cathy who wrote about wine and chocolate causing her issues.... well I never connected this until that post made me think about it.  After a few  fun "tests" with wine - sure enough it was what was giving me that extra "ache" after I'd have a glass of wine or sweets with friends.  Thank you to the group for making me a better informed and healthier person!  Smile

Hi Peg, So great that you're feeling better and (wow!) slimmer too!! I've changed my diet as well, and have found that it's easy to "give up" treats when you prove to yourself that they make you hurt... not much of a "treat" after all. Nice to hear the smile in your post! Ish

So happy to hear you are doing better.  Some people say changes in diet really helps their RA.
