Me again, I wanted to share something else with those of you have RA. While the internet has a wealth of info regarding RA and is very helpful, I was interested in finding a book about it (and not just a textbook) but something I could really relate to. I found a great one at Barnes & Noble called "THE FIRST YEAR Rheumatoid Arthritis: An Essential Guide for the Newly Diagnosed". The author is a patient-expert who was diagnosed in 1993, M.E.A. NcNeil, copyright 2005. I just started it and within the first chapter it already answered some questions I haven't had a chance to talk over with my rheumy yet... including some of the feelings I'm having. It talks about everything you "need to know" about RA.

It really is a wonderful book and not just for "newbies" - I've had RA for over 40 years and found many helpful things in it. Last year, I interviewed M.E.A. McNeil and if you're enjoying the book, you may like to read that post.
Thanks for your post!
