Hi All, It has been a long while since I've been here so I thought I'd check in. Things are going pretty good for the most part. I had a minor setback in March when I caught a bad cold (after going home to WA for a visit) and had to stop my Humira and Methotrexate for a couple weeks. I sure not...

Hi back, Jenny... I too am new to this RA... am also on Humira, and noticed that you are also on the methotrexate as well... I'm wondering if that would help me too... I continue to have swelling and pain in one knee, both ankles and now my wrists again, as I am trying to come off the prednisone... am down to 5mg a day right now... (Was on 10mg for almost the 2 years since I've been diagnosed with this RA!! I'm hoping to get off the prednisone, as it has caused a big weight gain for me... but I don't like the symptoms coming back, and am hoping it is a temporary thing...

I'm also going to see a Naturopathic doctor tomorrow, to see if there is more I can do in that way... she believes strongly in the gastro-intestinal tract having a big part in this... makes sense to me, as I had a severe food poisoning episode right before my RA symptoms began... she's the first one to take that seriously! Anyway, it will be great staying in touch here...
