My right foot/ankle has hurt the worst right from the beginning of being diagnosed with RA 10 years ago.  It was always the first area of joints to begin hurting in a flare-up, and the last joints to stop hurting after a flare.  As the years went on, my right foot slowly but steadily got wo...

That is terrific news.  I am so glad the Orencia is working so well for you.  What a blessing to have your Mother come to the rescue.  Can't believe you cope so well with four boys.  I have boys 10 and 13 and I know how hard it is to parent the way you want to.

Good luck and keep us posted.

    Cheers,

I am SO happy I found your "Happy" post!!! My MRI's showed that I also have bone cysts in my right foot and right wrist as well! They are always the worst pain offenders as well! I am SO going after my RA doc about this! PLEASE let me know how this turns out for you! I am so glad for you! I am sure this is going to help you!

That's what I love about this site, you search around and BAM you find someone who is on the same track as you and it helps SO much!

Good luck! I will be praying for you!

You are blessed to have a mother that is so supportive.  May I adopt her?  Please?

You have a great attitude.  The truth about foot surgery and RA is real:  I chose to use Hospital for Special Surgery (ranked #1 in USA) with a top FOOT SURGEON, MEDICAL DR. instead of a Podiatrist since I have RA.  Unfortunately other people with surgery with Podiatrists around the same time as mine, more than a year ago -  are still on crutches, or have had and continue to have serious complications -  not even with RA.

Not at all to scare you, but the recovery time with RA is much longer. So if your POD is great, just prepare yourself for a bit longer recovery time than the normal time.

I wish you the best of luck, and I am so happy that you have someone to care for you. You are truly wonderful with your spirit, and truly blessed.

    HUGS to your beautiful mom.

    Elizabeth
