I am currently taking prednisone and methotrexate for my RA. I have only been on the methotrexate for about a month and I still have no pain relief. I was reading up on this drug and it said it could take up to 27 weeks for it to stabalize in your system. 27 WEEKS!!! That is a long time to wait!!  I am hoping that is not true. Does anyone have a different opinion about this?? Does anyone else out there have a hard time walking after sitting for awhile? It seems like my body hurts more if I sit and watch t.v. or drive for awhile. Especially in the middle of the night if I get up to use the washroom, I can barely walk!!
