Glad to hear things are going fairly well.  I'm about to go into advice mode, please forgive me. Wink

The fatigue adjusts as your body gets used to the meth - it'll be there, but not as bad as in the beginning.  There are things you can do to feel less sick - eat bland food a few days around taking your weekly dose, make sure you eat something, even if it's just half an apple or some crackers every 3-4 hours.  Gives your stomach something to do besides trying to eat itself.  Hot water with a small slice of lemon settles the stomach really well.  Ginger and peppermint teas are also good for that (but I swear by the water and lemon thing and drink it continually throughout the day). Lastly, take acidophilus once or twice a day with meals - it's a probiotic supplement, helps re-establish the proper bacterial culture in your intestines and as a bonus, does wonders for your stomach.  Get the good stuff from a health food store that's kept in the fridge.

Good luck - keep us posted!

Hey Grrrl!  Good to hear from you.  I've been wondering how you've been adjusting to all the changes in your life right now!  Many of us have the convenience of having the rest of our lives somewhat settled before the big diagnosis comes our way.  But not you, what with the class schedule, new living arrangements, social life excursions etc.  Sounds like you're hanging in there.  Lene's right though, it does get better.  (She almost always is too....kind of getting on my nerves if you must know. If I didn't have such a deep abiding respect for her, I'd probably have to kick her ass!) Wink

I think what i call university is what you call college... how does it work ?? I'm in a sixth form college doing a - levels so the whole mega life change thing happens next year luckily enough : )

Oh darlin, you're sweet but I'm not qualified to shine Lene's shoes.  Remember, I'm a newbie to all this too!  As for "A levels" and "College" vs "Uni".... I never could figure you Brits out!  I just noticed that y'all had this inexplicable thing for Sanka and you would  wince when we yanks say "Love Ya!" too much.  That's why I've decided to simply see Great Britain as depicted by J.K. Rawling, as historically accurate.  Prevents me from having to incorporate any new (or factually accurate) information.  With that, I say good luck with your O.W.L.'s and glad everythings gotten all sorted out what with that Voldemort character and all!

    LOVE YA!!

You may be a newbie but you're the person who seems to inject the most humour into our crappy situation!! Thanks for brightening my day with your magic wand haha
