I'm speechless, there are now words that are adequate, for the girls and the family.
Wish I could send them a cure, but I do send them hugs and love.
Wish I could fix it
I know, pretty overwhelming to have two such little kids with JA. They're dealing well with it - sounds like a strong family.
I just wanna say that this posting drove me to join my state arthritis foundation and become an e-advocate.I have been emailing my congressman and anyone else I think should hear us! When I read the article on the proposal to increase insurance copays or make us pay the full amount not covered by insurance, it made me think, not to mention very angry... These two girls, what would their parents do or where would they be if this happened. God Bless you and know people are fighting to help families like yours. It is up to us, obviously our leaders have other issues more important than the health of the people. All we hear is "affordable healthcare for all", in the mean time look whats being cut. Like, medicaid, my daughters disabled.. I got a notice that medicaid is no longer covering routine eye exams, and next year more cuts. BUT>>>>> they will now cover ALL weight loss surgeries.. I know obesity leads to other stuff, but apparently visions not important... I'm on my soap box, this concerns me cause whats next? The "fat" can be cut from other areas. My govenor when she went into office hired 2 aides with a salary of $130-$150,000 a year.... HELLLOOO! Shes not running for reelection, thank gosh. Just my gripe for the day. It doesn't make sense to not cover health needs for our children. Who is the government thinking of.... Sorry, just needed to get this off my chest.
there's no need to be sorry - thank you so much for your rant! Getting angry enough to taking action is what we all need to do. Anger can channel action, and action creates change.
Thank you for becoming an advocate!
Thank you. I sometimes rant too much..lol i hope you have a great day!
I rant all the time. Just keep it to my personal blog - try to be constructive and reasonable on HealthCentral.
Oh but of course. This is a positive place!!! Thank you Lene and all the team for being here for us! You guys are great. I truly hope for the girls to be pain free. I pray for them nightly. And their mom...... God bless her.
positive is good and I try to be, as much as possible. But every now and again, a rant is necessary.
