I agree with you. I think your doctor should see what you are talking about.

Is it RA related???  Hard to say.  That is why I think you should see your doctor.

Whatever is causing it, it is NOT right.  If/when you find out what is going on, could you share it with our community?  It might help someone else who may have the same or a similar problem.

I hope you get some answers and some relief soon. Pain can wear a person down.  Hang in there!

Peace,

V

If you just got over a flare while on Plaquenil, it sounds as if your medication is not adequately suppressing your RA. You might want to consider talking to your rheumatologist about treatment options, such as increasing the dose, adding another medication or switching altogether.

In regards to your toe... Usually, when a body part is numb it indicates that there's a problem with a nerve, such as e.g. a pinched nerve in e.g., your lower back - have you had back pain lately? Obviously, I'm not a doctor so I can't tell you specifically where this is coming from or why, but I would recommend that you make an appointment to see your family doctor to get checked out.

Good luck! Please let us know how things go?
