OK. Went to the new rheumy yesterday. He was fine, He agreed that I probably have developed a tolerance to Enbrel, so it's time to find something new. We're trying remicade first, rituxin will come after remicade, if we have bad results. He also put be on Mobic (which, surprisingly, I had never even ...

Never feel uncomforable to ramble on about anything and everything.  I do it all the time Tongue out!  That's what we are here for, support, and to listen whenever you need it.  Mobic is a drug that has helped many, many people so hopefully it will really help you.  I have a five year old and an eight year old, so I understand how much it can hold you back when you are experiencing morning stiffness.  I have some ideas that just might help a little bit with the morning stiffness.  I use a paraffin wax bath for my hands and feet in the morney.  Yes, it is messy but I will do almost anything in the morning for some relief.  I also take the hottest bath I can stand in the morning.  Not only does it help me warm up my joints, it helps me destress from the stress that is caused just by trying to get out of bed.  I know how frustrating it can be to be so stiff for so long.  It almost seems like by the time your stiffness starts to ease up, then you start to experience pain before bed.  I hope this helps, and I hope you are able to experience some relief soon!  Good luck and best wishes!

I'm with Holly on the hot baths in the morning.  Some mornings, that is the only thing that gets me moving enough to get ready for work.  I've gotten to where I set my alarm a little earlier just so I can have my bath. Plus, it gives me a little time to myself...which all of us with children know is a rare thing!  :P I'm still trying to convince my husband that we need to invest in a hot tub.

Good luck with the new meds! I hope that all is working out for you!!
