I start Remicade Infusions on Thursday the 19th. This is the first time I've ever been scared of and Arthritis Treatment. I've now been on Mobic for nearly a month and have seen no results whatsoever, so while I'm scared of the drug, I'm also a little excited.
Now, I won't have to give mysel...

Wow, good luck with the remicade that is my last resort... I am on Humira and Methotrexate have had this since I was 18 and now am 35... If you want to try to get better I have actually researched a lot through the yrs and my rheumatologist loves it... I am on a strict vegetarian diet... no animal products just some fish like salmon occasionally... I drink mostly water or hot tea no sodas or juices... well occasionally grapefruit juice is all... taking Ginger, Turmeric and Omega 3 fatty acids rich with coconut oil and evening primrose oil really helps.. I run alot have done 5ks and am working my way to half-marathons... I really hope you can get through it... start walking maybe 10 minutes to 15 minutes a day and increase it.. I tell you our mind when healthy can help us through so much.. It has helped me to exercise and eat right especially having children.. I wish you the best and hope everything works out for you.

I've been having Remicade infusions every 8 weeks for the last 3 years (plus methotrexate). I (and my wife) can really tell a difference...this stuff is very effective for me...my only problem is that, during the last week of each 8-week period (as the Remicade "runs out") my energy level plummets---it's actually a small price to pay.
