After being on Remicade for nearly a year, I'm really seeing the benefits. I'm still getting the infusion every five weeks and I'm at 700 mg an infusion. I usually have about a week of pretty bad pain throughout that five weeks, but that's doable and I know when it's going to happen. I recently had another kidney stone pass, I was in and out of the emergency room four time because no one could control the pain. Because of the meds I'm on, I got a UTI from the stone passing. The infection caused my body to have a horrible reaction so my arthritis flared up beyond any control, totally wasted and infusion last month! In doing the CTs of my abdomen, they found pulmonary nodules, an ovarian cyst and a hiatal hernia. Further examination of the nodules found them to be scar tissue from when I had pleurisy about ten years ago. The ovarian cyst will be checked on again in 6 weeks and the hernia is a wait-and-see-if-it-becomes-symtimatic type of thing.

Problem is, when they did the ct of my chest to look at the nodules, they found a mass on my Thymus. Now I have to have an MRI as soon as possible. Anybody know if this could be a real problem? Or am I worrying about nothing?

Thanks!!
