I was diagnosed with RA about 5 years ago and have undergone many different therapies, from taking Aleve to Methotrexate. Nothing is helping. My Rheumatologist is using me for a science experiment, I think... a walking laboratory. My pain level increasing and my ability to do normal day-to-day things decreases. He has finally prescribed Enbrel and I am hoping this will work so I can get my life back.
I have gotten a ton of information in the mail and even have Enbrel in my fridge, waiting for my training session on Tuesday. I am a little worried about having to inject myself, as in, can I even do this????

Sure you can!!! It is soooooooo easy, compared to dealing with the pain. I have been doing it for 4+ years. I would opt to do it in your stomach though. I have found that you get less injection sight issues than when you do it in the thigh. So good luck and don't be nervous, it will be okay. Think of it a step toward getting your life back.
