Will never give up

By LovetoSkate Saturday, July 25, 2009

Wanted to share with everyone that it is very possible to live with RA.  Just to give you a quick update on myself.  I was diagnosed with RA about 1 1/2 years ago (Seronegative RA).  For 3 months, I could hardly walk when I woke up and could not turn on the water with my hands.  After the 3 months and many many tests they finally came up with the diagnosis.  I then started a clinical trial for Humira and Methotrexate and today am still taking both along with Folic Acid.  I still have some bad days but for the most part I am in remission.  I am sharing the attached news clip that is very recent in hopes to give inspiration to others that it is still possible to continue your life as you were with a few adjustments of course.  I am not saying that it won't be hard.  But you must maintain a strong mind.  Strong mind = strong body    http://centralillinoisproud.com/content/video/?cid=69761&shr=addthis

Very inspirational!  Thanks for posting.  I hope that you continue to do well.

I agree 100%. After RA I have ran 7 marathons and sub 4:00 one of them. I train for 26.2 every six months and that keeps RA at bay. keep strong, fight and we will get through it.
