Livng with R.A. is not easy, but I am trying to cope with this. The pain and anguish I feel is not good, I am feeling really down in the dumps and need some one who understands about R.A. to uplift me if that is even possible.

Hi I too suffer from RA. I believe it is connected to my service in Vietnam. The best thing I did for my mood and depression was to start taking Cymbalta 60mg It helped with the depression that is always present with this hideous, painful Way of living! Give it a try.

    Hi Frank

Will talk to my doctor about cymbalta, because right now I am feeling really down, my ra has flared up again, I try to act as though i'm handling this situation when i'm around other people, but when i'm by myself i cry because of the pain, people are not use to me being down, because they feel as though i am the one whose suppose to be uplifting them. No one to express my feelings to except God, but sometimes human understanding would help

Do you take Enbrel or one of the Biologicals? They help. Family and friends dont understand, unless they suffer with this disease.

Main problem is no one can see pain. If it were visible it would look like a two-headed fire breathing monster! Cymbalta 60mg is one of the best anti-depressants, Ive taken a lot of different kinds,...this is the only one that really works and it  helps with the pain. Its a God sent. All the others had no affect or I wanted to kill myself even more when I was on them. Do you take opiates for pain? If you do stop!! Sometimes they only make the pain tolerable . And before you know it you are fighting an addiction on top of everything else.  After many years on high dosages for pain I stopped in July and have actually felt better without them. Cymbalta is the answer for many of us. Let me know how it works for you. You wont regret it. And try one of the Biologicals.
