My name is Rose and I just posted my story. Glad to hear you say "embraceing your Arthrits." I read an article recently where this woman called her illness "Bette Noir", The Beast. I really do believe that when we stop fighting the "Why me and the what ifs we can begin to cope better.

I have to agree with Rose - there are times when I feel 'fighting' the disease makes it worse, I try and work with it.  It doesn't always work, but it's certainly a different kind of battle.  Roshni's description of "it having her, not the other way around" fits!  Most of the time I can be positive, I'd rather not hear people all the time saying, Oh that's too bad everything you have to deal with.  But sometimes I do vent, or get upset, and then I have to say, to end it - do I want to waste the time and energy I have getting upset, or doing something I can do?
