Lorraine

By Lorraine Thursday, July 17, 2008

Good afternoon everyone!  This has been a good day.  Some days are horrible and I can't find any way to tell when I'll be really hurting all over.  No rhythm to this disease.  I am finding that avoiding red meat is helping.  I've been on methotrexate and folic acid since last September -- now doing injectable meth.  -- my husband gives me a shot Friday mornings.  Kind of scary, but so far so good.  I hope all of you out there who are suffering can find some relief -- at least sometimes.  Peace.

I completly understand, I feel good somedays and others I cant hardly get out of bed.  I just get so tired/weak usually a couple of days each week and sleep all day.  There is definatly no rhythm it varies week to week with me!!  Good luck to you.

Hi.  Thanks for writing back.  I have a question for you and for anyone, really.  Do you get depressed for no reason?  I seem to have times that I'm really down in the dumps.  Do you think this has to do with the meds. we have to take for our r.a.???

I too feel down a lot....not sure if it is depression or RA or meds??  I have not talked with my doc about this, but then again I was just diagnosed a little over a month ago so I am new to all of this!!!

Hi, Lorriane I am taking mx and folic acid since May 2008, and starting in August after I see my doc she wants to start me on the injection! hopefully that works I feel your pain I have been trying to eat better! and I plan to start yoga once I see my doc on August 11th which is good for flexiability, for the muscles so I hope that works out also for me! I know that sometimes I can't even move from my bed everything hurts but we have to hang in there for one an other and I find that this website is very helpful everyone is here for each other!! I hope you feel better!! God bless!!!
