thank you all so very much!

I just wanted to thank each and every one of you that have come to my aid. I do not know what I would do with out all of you! :) Taking these drugs are scary, and we have each other to take them and share our stories of hope, and our fears. This is our life and I really understand that. Some day when I go to the RA doctor I will not cry when I get home. Everytime I go now it hits home that this is real, it is not going away. This is apart of my...

So I say to my mom I have to go to the rest room. She says oho ok I will come with you.
And with that she gets up and takes off! lol I am now trying to stand and walk and she is on the other side of the room...

I went to my RA doctor today!

my blood work showed the inflammation in my blood is still high but came down a little. So it shows the Trexall is working. He said not enough though, and instead of upping the Trexall he is just going to put me on Remicade. He said he has had a lot of good results from it. So now off I go to get a TB test. He is going to see if my insurance will pay for the Remicade. if not he goes right the people who make it. He gave me the CD that...

hardest things to do with RA

Hello everyone.
I was wondering what part of RA makes it very hard to do everyday things?
I wanted to see how many have to deal with some of the things I have to deal with..
My bigest thing is my hands.. My fingers and the fact that my hands and fingers are no longer strong enough to do things like.. Dishes.. Not just the washing of them, because I have a hard time holding them, and really giving them a good scrub. Unloading the dish washer....

A day in the pool

Yesterday I was feeling good and my daughter and my son's girlfriend was swimming in our pool. So I thought I am going in too! Well I had so much fun. I forgot all about having RA. We made big waves in the pool and I fell off my tube. I had a blasted just playing with the kids. Then we wanted to get out and get something to eat. That is when I felt it. I had a hard time getting out of the pool. Walking was so hard to do. By time I got into the...

please help I am scared!

Ok this has been going on with me,for a short time when I walk and I am scared it is more then RA. When you walk do you walk with a jerky motion? My whole body jerks at times. When I wake up and I open my eyes I feel this jerkyness in my body. Now at times it is worse then other times. Like tonight when my land lord came and he is really great and more then willing to work with us. He came in with a ham for us and as he took it to the...
