    Dear Sir,

I am a scientist, working on oral small molecule DMARDs. I really liked your posts regarding RA. Could you please give some insight on the pre-clinical models that would assure the progress of such molecule into clinical.

    Thank you,

Can you tell us if they're have been any advances in determining the degree that diet has to do with RA and the severity of symptoms??? I think most of us with RA, can claim that symptoms worsen after ingestion of certain foods. There is much literature out there concerning "leaky gut" syndrome and also that a gluten free diet has been shown to be beneficial for some RA sufferers. There is also more and more information concerning lectins which makes a lot of sense when reading about it. Could you share with us what your experience and feelings are about these aspects of controlling RA symptoms???
