I've been told that Mona Vie helps many people who suffer from RA and other autoimmune disorders. Has anyone tried it, if so, did it work or did you feel a difference in your overall well being? Any insight would be great!

I am glad to read that you are open minded. I am one skeptical person and when I heard about the Acai berry juice, which is what Monavie is, I also "gave it a try." The reason is because I have played sports for voer 35 years, and my hips and knee joints were really starting to ache. I started taking HA (hyaloranic acid) and that really helped. (see prodigyproducts.com - no I am NOT associated with them whatsoever)! But I hate taking tablets or any kind of medication or natural "pills" of any kind....so I tried Monavie.
I have been "on" Monavie Active for over a month now - almost every time I walk past the fridge, I take a slug. You cannot OD on this stuff! And I have felt better physically, emotionally, and mentally in a long time! I am 53 years old and quite active. I have my neighbors taking it, too. One is a former NFL player and his wife was a stunt woman in Hollywood. They were both on 15 Advils a day!! And they have since cut those in half. I have stopped taking HA, too. The juice gives me whatever it is/was my body was missing.
I will NEVER say it cures anything, but from personal experience, I swear by it. IN order to keep the costs down, I signed up as a Monavie consultant and three couples go in together to split the Mega case. We figure it's about $20 a bottle that way.....and we drink that in WINE every week anyway..... Good luck, and don't feel pressure. Do what YOUR body tells you - and do your research just like you did here.

As far as my experience w/ Mona Vie, I can tell that some of the swelling has gone down in my knuckles. To make sure I wasn't seeing things, I asked my boyfriend, mother and coworker and they could all see a difference as well. There are days were the swelling is "back to normal," but I keep in mind that Mona Vie isn't a cure and it works differently w/ folks. I don't have that much pain with my RA, but there have been occasions where I've had pain and took a "swig" of Mona Vie and I realize later that the pain is gone.
Tell your friend to give it a go and see if it helps them. There's no harm in trying!
While I don't personally have RA, my mother does, very bad! I have had her on monavie for ONE WEEK and she is starting to feel better. She is an avid fisher and she works with a computer all day long so her hands kill her by the end every day, she fished in a tournament all day and had little to no pain! Ok heres something to chew on when thinking about spending the 40. plus dollars for the monavie miracle cure all. Most of the benefits you can find in the produce aisle of your local grocery. Antioxidants, viatamins, and many many other benefits from a healthy diet mixed with adequate exercise even if its low impact. There are dozens of berries, fruits and vegetables that we can use that will provide the same effects of this monavie. Just do yourself and your pocket book a favor and read up on what nutritional value monavie has and then cross reference with other fruits and veges you find in the store. Am sure you will be impressed that you can get same or similar effects with a fraction of the cost.

All these wonderful testimonies are written by those who's sole aim is to persuade you to part with your hard earned cash. These people have no morals when it comes to ripping off those desperate to ease their symptoms.
WOW! That's pretty harsh. First of all, I read all the comments and from what I could tell they weren't persuading people to do anything, just offering an alternative. Secondly, how much research have you done on what's in the fruit juices in the store versus what's in MonaVie? I have a child with cerebral palsy who suffers from spastic muscles and it has helped her, where as all the so called "juices" in the store that are just glorified sugar water did NOTHING! I would much rather give her something healthy than inject her with painful shots of botox or give her drugs that just cause her to be completely lethargic. I don't proclaim it to be a cure (seeing that there is no cure for what affects my daugher) but I can say that for her muscle issues and pain, it has done wonders. Now, to address the "the doctor would suggest it" statement, there are some doctors out there that regularly use alternative medicine in conjunction with traditional forms with great success. Maybe her doctor just hasn't been introduced to the product.
As stated by another you need to do the research! I was one of those folks that did not even want to hear about MonaVie. Our daughter kept pressing us to try it. She even gave us a couple of bottles to try because of health issues I had. I began drinking it just to shut her up ... but low and behold about 30 days after drinking it I realized my knees were not hurting, I could get out of bed and start walking without having to hold on to anything and my energy level began returning. I have been sleeping at night without pain in my legs and hips. I had done nothing different except drink MonaVie. And after reading these postings I now even realize that my wrists (carpal tunnel) has not been hurting. All I know is what changes have occured in my body since consuming MonaVie.
Then in regards to buying fruits and veggies in the store, look at the prices for these items now. It would cost a small fortune to buy fresh fruits and veggies to get the daily servings that MonaVie offers. Plus, what about how these fresh fruits and veggies are grown .... all the chemicals used! Guess you forgot the chemicals end up in your body! Not Good!
I don't know why MonaVie works, I can't say it healed anything, can't claim anything like that .... but I do know how I feel since I have been drinking this.
This is a typical response of those who are appathetic. if you have actually researched this you would find it would cost you about $20.00 per day to get all the vitamins and nutrients that the AHA, And cancer society say you need. in case you cant do the math that is about $600.00 per month. Mona Vie is the only thing ive seen to deliver 13 servings of friuts and vegetables in 2, 2 ounce servings and an average cost of $130.00 per month. Now im no math expert but that seems pretty easy. And if you felt like doubling your daily intake, as distributor this wouls only cost you $230.00 per month. So where is the big bargain you speak of. Call me some time and ill fill you in on the truth.

it is not as if there is no basis or physiological path way for monavie's ingredients to work either. all the 19 fruits beneficial properties are well studied and documented.
as for someones : if is so good your doctor would recommend it" well the sad fact is that the way most doctors are so quick to prescribe drugs, you would think they are reps for pharmaceutical companies. (some not all).
the pharmaceutical industry is so big and profitable that any natural product, which means they cant take out a patent on it and therefore cant control it or its revenue or could threaten pharmaceutical industry profits is usually bought off and squashed.

My mother and Grandmother have not had pain from arthritis since they have been drinking the active mona vie. To be clear, monavie is not a cure or amedicine, it just provides the body enough antioxidants to help itself. Despite being very skeptical at first, they both insist on drinking it every day!

I have been taking Monavie since April 2008 and it has worked better than any other suppliment for reducing arthritis inflammation and pain than anything else I've ever taken. For years I was taking Gloucosamine from Amway. Although it helped reduce the spread it didn't relieve the pain like Monavie. Now I am playing football with my kids and enjoying much much more physical exercise such as running, biking and weightlifting then before (I'm 56).
Another benefit I've noticed is no more migraine headaches. It seems to have a detoxifying effect and clears my head. My body seems at peace. The person who told me about Monavie said try it for 3 months and see if you notice anything. I did and I recommend it to others to do the same. Try it for three months.
I've been drinking Mona Vie for a few months and here are some things that I have noticed:
1.I don't feel as tired during the day

hey everyone...well my husband and i heard about mona vie and decided to give it a try...to be honest, we started to not feel the greatest the first week. after 5-7 days the effect of mona vie we had heard about took full effect.
my husband suffers (ed) from awful sinus headaches daily...havin to take mucinex...
his headaches have dissappeared after two weeks of mona vie. we also both suffer from joint issues...we are both on the active...and we have noticed a major difference in pain.

Steph, I have done a little research for you on this issue as I have not used this product myself. What I found is a little confusing. I found lawsuits filed against the company for false advertisement due to their claims on curing people from certain health issues. On the other hand I have also found wonderful personal experiences on the use of this product. In my opinion (and I am definitely not the doctor) the only true way to know if it will help is to try it out. Unfortunately, as you have probably learned from living with RA, is that one thing may work for one person and not another. However, here are the links if you would like to check it out.

Thank you for these links, they were very interesting, I was given a bottle recently and I'll have to see for myself how it works. It is very tasty, I can admit that. My dog even likes it! I know it's becoming a really big item now, down in NC where I live, I've seen PT cruisers for Mona Vie distrubtors riding through town and a coworker who uses it says he has more energy and some pain in his thumb joint has decreased. I say try something once and see for yourself, and I guess that's what I'll do. I'll keep you posted as to what happens!

The reason you do not give it to animals is that it contains grapes which are toxic to the kidneys in dogs and cats. It is in both formulas.
I also want to comment on the Quixtar lawsuit. They were suing because someone claimed it as a "cure" and you can not do that until it has been proved even though the results have been overwhelming. It was not that the juice does not work but that they challanged the label of "cure".

In response to lawsuits, have you ever researched how many people die every year from pharmaceutical drugs and mis-prescribed drugs? The latest - Guardicil for young girls. Last number I heard was that 13 have been killed. Are you aware that the US consumes more than 50% of the drugs produced for the world, yet we represent less than 5% of the world's population? The pharmaceutical companies are now lobbying (in Canada which means we're next) so that if you want 200 mg. of Vitamin C you will be required to get a prescription from a doctor!
The false advertisement you may have heard about is likely from overzealous distributors who don't understand the "FDA's" rules. Remember them? They're the ones who will not allow "anyone" to make a claim about curing "anything" unless it's a FDA approved drug.
Read Schauss's recent study, but there are a number of reasons why MonaVie is a beneficial product:
1. The soil in the US is depleted of nutrients and has been since at least the 1930's due to lack of rotation. (Not nutritious)
2. Instead of using natural farming practices, most seeds (Monsanto) for our produce is genetically altered, chemicals are tossed into the soil and then they spray the growing produce with pesticides. (Not safe)
3. We now need upwards of 9-13 servings of "fresh" fruit and vegetables per day based on our activity. How many people do you know that even have 2-3? (Not convenient)
Unless you plan to purchase organic produce and do some juicing, which will cost you $12-$15 per day, 99% of the population will "not" consume what is required, hence the unbelievable statistics in the US...
We're the wealthiest country in the world and almost dead last when it comes to health for industrialized countries when it comes to health. Out of 300 million plus people in the US -
70 million have heart disease
20 million have diabetes

This doesn't include MS, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, ADD, ADHD, Arthritis, etc..
4. MonaVie is one (if not the only) functional nutritional health beverage willing to put their money on the line with independent 3rd party studies and will continue to do so.

My neighbor gave me a bottle of Mona Vie to try because she was concerned about my health. (I have had athritis for about four years ~ lower back and right knee) Since I have been taking various pain pills over the years and ~ I had no expectations, but since the bottle was free ~ I tried it. For me the results, were very positive and immediate. After being in pain for almost 4 years, I am now without pain. Although it's expensive to purchase, I'm going to continue to take this product. I can carry on with my daily duties and sleep at night without being in pain. Since I am no doctor ~ don't ask me how this is possible, but this product worked for me. Grape is only one of 19 fruits in MonaVie, fact is it takes large amounts of grapes to poison a dog or cat, one or two onces of MonaVie for a dog is fine and harmless,.
just want to advise that in some cases what ever we are trying it may take more time for some than others. after all i think we would all agree that most of us are many years defficiant in nutrients. so to expect anything to fix us in 1 week is just foolhearty. so amybe it would take 2 or 3 even 4 weeks. well it ttok me 3 weeks on mona vie and i cant even begin to explain the benifits. Im 40 yrs old to feel this good in just 3 weeks! WOW I WIN.
please dont take offense, but if it is working than it is cheap to purchase. I have arthritis in my knees. I have been taking Monavie for about a month and a half now. I can't tell you that all the stiffness and soreness is completely gone but I notice a considerable improvement in my knees. I can actually walk now without it hurting so bad. I love the stuff!! I am a distributor now just because it has helped me.
