FMLA for surgery

In April of this year, a tendon tore in my right hand and I ended up having surgery. I was out for a week and a half, had physical therapy for about 2 months, not to mention the post-op appointments with my hand surgeon. When I did go back to work, I was in a cast for 3 weeks, then I had brace that resembled a "Terminator arm" for the next month, month and a half.
Meds to slow down degeneration???

Hi All: I was wondering if anyone could suggest drugs that they know of or may be taking to slow the degeneration in their joints. I found out yesterday that I have osteopenia in my fingers and that the tissues in my fingers, knuckles and wrists are degenerating. I'm on 6-2.5 mg of methotrexate a week, but after seeing those xrays, I get the impression it's not really working. Any input is greatly appreciated! Steph

Anyone use Mona Vie????

I've been told that Mona Vie helps many people who suffer from RA and other autoimmune disorders. Has anyone tried it, if so, did it work or did you feel a difference in your overall well being? Any insight would be great! Thanks! Steph
