Ok so I am dealing with the fact of going on remicaide in a couple weeks. not to nervous now. I have read alot of and gotten advise from many.. So this is my new problem, well not new I have been dealing with this Stress fracture in my left foot (fourth metatarsal and cuboid bone) for over a year now. It won't heal. I have been using a bone stimulator for a month or so and still nothing. I go to the doctor next week, I see a pysiatrist first then my ortho surgeon..  I am at a loss..Off work for almost three months and in an aircast for my foot. Just wondered does anyone have an opinion or has this happened to you? I am at a point where the doc needs to s**t of get off the pot!! Just frustrated with being off work for so long. Hope everyone has a great fourth of July!!

To be honest, I don't know. I do hope that you'll get some other comments on this post that can help you. However, I recommend that you have an extensive conversation with your doctor regarding the lack of healing and what role, if any, your RA may have in that. Let us know how things go?

I am hearing that many football players get stem cell therapy to fix bones that won't heal.

I kept an article from a newspaper Herald Sun (Melbourne/Australia) dated 14/4/09  it states   "Teriparatide  now used to prevent osteoporosis can have a positive effect on broken bones.  Given once a day as an injection can men painful fractures and breakes that have not healed.
