Hi all, I have been reading all the share posts and learning from many of you over the last few months. It is good to not feel so all alone in this, and tonight I felt it was time to share my own feelings. Having a REALLY tough night tonight, after a really tough day. I would say I am in a roug...

    Brad,

Good for you!  I'm so glad to hear the determination in your voice.  It is so easy to get down so depressed that you don't even want to take the time to turn your computer on, but you did and I'm sure you felt better by the time you turned it off.  Keep  your chin up, keep going to your doc, maybe your meds need to be increased, and stay on this site.  It really has been a Godsend for me.  Keep posting.  It is amazing the insight from the people here.  I've said this to others here, but I learn more from this site than what I learn from my docs!

I wish you well and God Bless!

Hope tomorrow is a better night for you!Kiss

Employers......and co-workers somebody could write a book about these knuckle heads ..lol.  It can really hurt when people you work with don't understand or do not appear to care.  Don't let them get to you!

    Hope you feel better soon!

    Thanks!

Yeah, work is grand! Got them off my back today, thank goodness! You would think I am out with the sniffles or something the way they act. Pretty much over worrying what anyone else wants  to think. I KNOW how I feel!

    Take care,

    Brad

I agree 100% what the heck is that?! I don't know if I ever will feel like that again. Work is a hard place to deal with sometimes...I hate how I am late in the mornings cause of my RA and my co-workers just don't get it. Along with having a 2 year old and suffering from migraines. And a husband who was laid off from the county.

Somedays it just hits us, sorry to hear you were having a tough night. I think we all get fed up at times, other days we can push it to the corner of our minds and then BAM we just get overwhelmed from it all.

Hope today is going better! ((Hugs))

    Brad,

thank you for sharing - I think sometimes getting the crap out of us and onto the screen helps purge some of the "ick" that hangs out in our bodies (i know after I unloaded yesterday I did feel better). I admire your determination and resolve - and I'm sorry that you are in such pain and that work asks for "100 %" - it's insanity - everyone has times when their best is not the 100% they have been able to give in the past. Keep your chin up, keep posting, keep giving us all hope and determination.

    Thank you!

It did help to post, it's good to read others comments too.....talk about taking away the isolated feeling!

    Take care,

    Brad

you'll come out on the other side - hopefully, you and your rheumatologist will find something that works for you soon and you'll be on your way back.  RA puts you through the fire and hones you. After this, you'll be able to do anything.   Of course, that doesn't help the pain right now...

A quick practical note. If you're having trouble typing, look into Dragon NaturallySpeaking - it's a voice recognition software and it's a lifesaver. I use it to write everything, including this comment.

    Thank you Lene,

I have found a real island of sanity in your posts and comments. I just checked out the dragon site.....I am going to try it out. The laptop is painful to use. My trusty Blackberry, little shop of horrors! DONE with that monster! :(

    Thanks again.
