I too was dignosed with RA with fibromyalgia it been over 10 years. I had to stop working 4 years ago. I am prednisone a low doses when I have flare up I can increase 1/2 doses,  also methoraxate , Enbrel, and Lyrcia. All the drugs lower your immune system and gaining is big problem. I wish I can be drug free, as I notice it affecting my muscles. I exercise three days week by swimming , low impact treadmill and thigh machine. The muscles in my arms are weak no strenght most I can pick up weight 15-18 lbs. I am learning rest when I fatigue. I watching what i eat certain foods make more flare ups. Making sure i get good night sleep. Anyone who has this disease knows the struggle you go though daily actives. The simple things like housework or writing  get more harder each day. I noticed the my bones are shifting in my hands and feet. I used the computer alot .

I had to do an assignment for a college course regarding arthritis. We were supposed to choose someone we knew with a form of the disease and explain their symptoms, medications, and how the condition limits acitivities. Since I do not know anyone with the condition, I chose to read some of your blogs. I wanted to thank you, personally, and tell you I admire your courage and determination. Thank you, and I hope you are doing well.
