I am new to this sight in need of answers please help if you can. I am displaying all the signs of rheumatoid arthritis and have for about 8 months now. I just recently got health insurance and went to the doctor, she did all the tests and they were all negative except for hyprothyroidism and elevated white blood cell count, she said I do not have arthritis and no further testing will be done at this time she put me on Relafen that has helped very little. What ever this is has ruined my life, had to quit working, my husband and I had to file bankruptcy I mean this is serious. She said at this point I am not diagnosable we will just have to wait and see. When I told her Relafen wasn't working she prescribed vicodin, that was like putting a band aid on a surgical wound.. a big waste of time. Is there more testing to be done? Did this happen to any of you? I am so tired of being in excruitiating pain and the hand/finger stiffness is driving me crazy. I can barely even walk some days because of pain in my feet and hips. Do I need a second opinion or do I just have to wait?
