Tuesday, May 05, 2009 at 04:31 PMThank you Holly. I spent the afternoon with an Ortho who finally understood. It only took 30 years of seeing him for many complaints for him to get it. Of course that opened up door # 2, Fibro, But He got it. I had hope. Yes it's hard to keep having hope for so many years, Through so many Dr.s But the fact that I keep going back means I havn't lost all hope. Thank you for reminding me of that.

Friday, May 08, 2009 at 12:01 PMWithout hope, life would not be much worth living. For me, it is my faith that gives me hope. "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1 (<---Sorry if I sound like a bible thumper but there is alot of good stuff in there :-)

Monday, May 11, 2009 at 11:24 AMWow! You inspired me. Sometimes I sit down depressed thinking of the things I could do if I did not have RA. But now I can hope for miracles. I too live looking at my children and my wonderful husband and pray that I grow old with them despite RA.Doing things with them, being with them helps me forget the pain. I hope I can go into remission for a few years and be able to run down the stairs, get up after sitting without gritting my teeth, have the strength to open a lid,etc before I die.

Emily Dickinson said "Hope is the thing with feathers" and she was right. Hope lets you fly, even when your body is grounded.
Thanks for this post.
