I am a 33yo female with RA. Officially diagnosed 2 years ago, but struggling with it for approx 5. You touch me with every single post. When I am feeling bad for myself and see an email come with a new post from you, I literally count the seconds for the page to load. Please know you are such an inspiration to me!

Thank you for the healthy tears you brought to me, too. You have allowed your trials to make you very empathetic.  I have sent a link to several of your posts to my own familly members so that they might see the view from this side.

How awesome that you have shown us both sides this time. Your mom is blessed that you have used your own pain to mold you into such a compassionate young woman. As a bit older woman, I say "good girl, Holly." Cool

sorry to hear about your mom - I send my best wishes to her and hope that as a family, you can get through this together.

Thank you for this post. It was hard to read and I think that's a good thing. It made me think of things I hadn't paid enough attention to before.
