I went to my RA doctor today!

my blood work showed the inflammation in my blood is still high but came down a little. So it shows the Trexall is working. He said not enough though, and instead of upping the Trexall he is just going to put me on Remicade. He said he has had a lot of good results from it. So now off I go to get a TB test. methotrexate

I am on my 6th week of methotrexate and the doctor had said that the side effects should only last a few weeks to a month.  I am still sickly.....very tired and achy like I miss at least 2 days a week of work and upset stomach.  Does this feeling ever go away????

Medication levels - seems a little crazy!

Since being diagnosed with RA about 4 weeks ago I'm now on MTX (3 doses so far, latest was 17.5 mg and headed to 25 mg), 1 mg folic acid daily, (2) Aleve 2x per day daily, 5 mg prednisone daily and an injection of corticosteroid in each wrist.
