new diagnosis looking for advise

newly dx, started plaquenil this week.  Life altering dx.  What if Plaquenil doesn't work and another 6 months pass by with more damage.  Do not want to waste any time before permanent damage is done.  Any suggestions???   what is the next step??  Metho?? real improvement at last

I thought I would just share with you all my recent improvement due to a number of factors. Continued increase in Methotrexate up to 15 mgs weekly, no side effect!s!! Continued use of daily Plaquenil 400 mgs daily.Cessation of Celebrex and taking 9000 mgs daily of Omega 3 capsules.The main thing though is an anti depressant.It was added two weeks... Read moreChevron

Meds to slow down degeneration???

Hi All: I was wondering if anyone could suggest drugs that they know of or may be taking to slow the degeneration in their joints.
