A fresh perspective.

The first thing we try to do is to "deny" that we are in pain. Deny that we need treatment. Deny that anything worse could happen. Is is just me?

I have had severe RA for over a year now and really have not had a pain free day yet. I am wondering do others find there spouses or others family lacking compassion. 1st SharePost and it's a venting one

Basic background: Diagnosed in June '08; out on (private) long-term disability since July '08. Been adding meds from the get-go, and now I take MTX, Sulfasalazine, Plaquenil, Humira, Naproxen, Folic Acid, CoQ10 supplement, and percocet for pain. Tore two discs in lower back in January.
