Insecticides linked to PA

I found this very interesting.  When I was first diagnosed with RA 20 years ago I had been working in a nursery for 7 years. I had been exposed to strong insecticides and other chemicals on a daily basis.  This article sure has me wondering now about this now.  Thoughts to ponder....

Enbrel a real miracle drug for 10 + yrs but last 30 days have been the worse.

Not the R-word but some good news....and a question/ about the emotional side of RA

Allow me to share some good news.  Just got some blood test results, and for the first time, my neutrophils are on the low end of normal (they're the inflammatory white blood cells...).   It's good for RA, yet I wouldn't want them to go any lower (because they also protect against bacterial infection)!   and this is 7 days... Read moreChevron

To lose the joy of eating...

I am currently taking methotrexate.   At first, I would experience an ulcer here or there. Usually I'll get an ulcer in my mouth. Lately, its been increasing in severity. Currently I have 5 ulcers on my tongue and one on my lip. It hurts, to say the least. My tongue looks so dreadful, like its decaying. My doctor says its a common side... Read moreChevron

Living with RA

I am 40 year old female nurse that has lived with RA since I was 29. It has been a tough road..since the signs and symptoms started, to diagnosis, to treatment.
