I need medication.....

I am 32 years old and have been diagnosed with RA just at the begining of this year. I also have heart disease and some kidney problems from the RA meds I was on: methotrexate and arava and mobic. Is there any other medication that I can take that won't interfer with my heart condition? My rheumy is concerned and doesn't know... Read more Chevron

Non-stop pain

I'm dealing with a lot of pain, I have Ra that was diagnosed 6 months, and I also have Fibromyalgia. I'm on methotrexate, folic acid, andEnbrel which I'm not sure is helping. How long to wait?

I was diagnosed over a year ago with RA. After waiting forever and a day to get an appointment with a rheumatologist, I was put on plaquenil about 5 months ago. It has done absolutely nothing for me, and my rheumatologist keeps saying "give it time". I know it can take some time to work, but how long does one wait and suffer... Read more Chevron
